The Greater Mauston Community
Centered at the Elroy Commons two state bike/snowmobile trails (the 400 State Trail and the Elroy-Sparta State Trail) and a Juneau County trail (Omaha Trail) is the bike mecca of Juneau County.
The Mauston community takes pride in its natural features by providing phenomenal parks and pedestrian trail systems. You will enjoy the riverwalk, fishing pier, trails and lookouts up on Mile Bluff.
This great community features everything you need from lodging, food, fuel, and grocery, to the best night life in the area.
The Yellow River flows through the Village of Necedah and is a popular fishing and canoeing location. There are two boat landings and a dam that provides easy access for fishermen to the Yellow River.
Just a few miles northwest of Mauston, lies the pretty city of New Lisbon also located on the Lemonweir River.
The Dells, about 30 minutes southeast of Mauston, is just a short day-trip away.
Wisconsin’s fourth largest lake and covers 16,640 acres with approximately 60 miles of shoreline. It is known for its sandy shorelines, which makes for great swimming, skiing and leisure boating.
