Greater Mauston’s Naturally Connected Brand Takes Musical Flight
When Social Energizer began the Where’s Aldo campaign in May of 2016 as a way to promote the Naturally Connected brand of Greater Mauston, we wanted it to be multi-dimensional. What a better way to attract attention new audiences than by having a custom-written song developed for the brand?
Better yet, have it written by two amazing young local musicians – Kyle Roberts and Bree Morgan!
“Naturally Connected, I believe, truly represents how we are all a part of nature, and how it all intertwines,” says Bree.
Last year Kyle was featured on our blog as a hometown inspiration with his Feels Like Home music video. With Kyle’s recent graduation from High School, he and Bree are now ready to take on the music world by storm.
Their talents and personalities make them a natural fit. He writes the music. She writes the lyrics.
She is quirky, self-confident, driven and fun. He is more laid back and lets the music drive him.
Together their commitment is evident in every note and phrase.
Bree loves playing outside with her puppies and enjoying the sunshine while she writes her original lyrics. She is planning a trip to France in August and already has the travel bug. Her future plans include traveling the country to play her music. Her vocal talents are in full display on Kyle’s EP for the song Feel’s Like Home, which was recorded in the beginning of June. She hopes to get her own EP recorded this fall.
Kyle picked up a guitar one day at age twelve and the music began to flow. He has never had any formal training and does not read music; he just feels it. An up-and-coming blues guitarist, Kyle is starting to be noticed in the industry. He will be traveling to Memphis at the end of July to perform on stage with Ruby Wilson, The Queen of Beale Street. Wilson will also be providing the vocals on the EP to an original song composed and performed by Kyle, who is weighing a move to Memphis this fall.
You can catch Kyle and Bree performing Naturally Connected and other original songs throughout the summer at a wide variety of local venues:
