Something for everyone to do!
The Mauston New Lisbon Fly-In happens the first Saturday of the Labor Day weekend every year. Put on by local EAA Chapter 1365 volunteers this event is well-planned and well-attended. Open to the Public and offers something for everyone.
Experimental & Home Built Aircraft on Display
EAA Chapter 1365 members are builders, pilots and aviation enthusiasts of all ages. At the Fly-In, pilots from all over the state of Wisconsin will be coming to display their own plane, and take a look at all the other planes that have also come. Some of the airplanes are actually built by the pilots themselves. We will also have WW II War Birds coming!
Aviation Safety Wings Program
Bring your cash and take a ride on a helicopter. It’s a great experience! It seats four including the pilot. The rides are about 5 to 10 minutes long.
Antique / Classic Car show
There will be fantastic old antique cars as well as the great classic cars. Judging for the best car in each of the two categories is done by the general public – come on down and take a look, and cast your vote!
RC Aircraft Display / Show
Models of airplanes will be flying in the field behind the hangers for your viewing enjoyment.
Antique Farm Machinery and Modern Agriculture Equipment on Display
There will be antique farm machinery to see – the ones that they used in the old days. Also on hand will be the more modern agriculture Equipment. Lots of farm equipment to take a look at.
RV Aircraft – Kit Built, Judging Best of Show
Many prospective builders are understandably anxious about the skills involved in constructing an airplane. The fact is that most RVs are built by people who have never built an airplane before. Many have never built anything before. It’s their love of flying that challenges them to try it. RV Aircraft are built with a kit, and there will be some on display at the Fly-In.
Breakfast served by the Mauston Lions Club from 7-10:30 a.m.
Lunch served from 11:30 – 2pm
Activities for Children
There will be crafts and other activities for kids to do. Prizes will be awarded!
