I miss my original works by Millie. I had to record albums that she painted, which I bought at Grandma’s kitchen, where my mom and sisters worked in the late ’80’s. My brother in law’s mother had a small restaurant in Mauston (my other sister worked there at one time) and she also sold works by Millie. Millie is a local celebrity artist, in my opinion, and she always turned antique objects into works of art, which my mother also liked to collect. Anyone who has seen her work would be honored to own a piece. That’s how special her work is perceived.
