The Lodge At Mauston
We’re excited to announce our newest accommodation in the Greater Mauston area, The Lodge at Mauston. This 61-unit hotel and conference center will be the perfect answer for leisure and business travelers featuring wood trussed, vaulted ceilings in the lobby with a commanding 3-story tall, stone fireplace. The heavy timber rafters of the lobby are secured with Brunner Manufacturing bolts with the company logo imposed on them.
Built with a desire to ‘give back’ to the Juneau County community, Brunner Manufacturing Owner Ron Brunner decided it was time that Mauston have a place large enough for local weddings and business meetings. Brunner said the hotel enables Mauston to host events currently too large for the city, and typically only seen in Wisconsin Dells. “Over the years, we could never find a place for a large party,” Brunner said. “When my daughter got married we had to go to the Dells… Mauston really needs something and I’ve been lucky enough to be able to do it.”
Prevalent through out the hotel is a Western frontier inspired theme. Warm wood tones and rustic touches welcome guests at every turn. The up-scaled rooms have many features such as walk-in showers; some with balconies, fireplaces and extended stay amenities. An indoor pool, hot tub and fitness center provide the perfect place to wind down after a busy day.
The Broken Spur Steak & Seafood offers the area a great new fine-dining option within the hotel including a private dining room for those with special occasions and business meetings. The full-service bar will feature craft brews along with choice wines and cocktails. The Two Elk Event Center will host up to 500 guests with additional space for smaller meetings and events.
The Lodge is conveniently located just off Hwy 82 in Mauston’s hotel corridor. When arriving from the west on Hwy 82 (from I 90/94) take a left after the Pilot Gas Station. With the existing building only utilizing part of the property space of 22 acres, The Lodge is poised for future expansion.
